empty streets, no sign of life
just the bitter taste of guilt

for the dreams long forgotten
and if I leave this place
no one will notice
because I‘m all alone here in this empty world
Empty streets, no sign of life
everyone left long ago
winter coated everything with ashes
We had our chance and lost it
too many failures, too many cries in vain
unheard, ignored.
And now large amounts of pulverized debris
and molten earth are pulled up into the mushroom cloud
it now contains billions of highly radioactive particles
this is where radioactive fallout is born
